Rhyan specialises in the fields of general electronics, control systems, green technology, mechanical devices and power electronics, in particular in the field of electrical propulsion. He is experienced in the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe, USA and Asia. He also has expertise in handling Registered designs in the UK and Europe.
Having graduated from Cardiff University with a first class honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Rhyan spent a number of years in Marconi’s Optical Networks division as a research engineer before joining the patent profession in 2002. Rhyan joined Marks & Clerk in 2006. Rhyan was awarded the Drafting prize for passing the UK Drafting paper with the highest mark in 2007.
