Georgia specialises in patent matters relating to digital and emerging technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence, image processing and quantum technologies.
In addition, Georgia has experience in other areas relating to software and electronics including digital signal processing, data analysis, communication protocols and encoding standards, as well as in experimental and theoretical nanoscience including nanofabrication methods and quantum optics.
Before joining the patent profession, Georgia trained in physics and nanoscience. She holds an MPhys in Physics from The University of Sheffield and a PhD in Nanoscience from The University of Manchester, working alongside the Photon Science Institute and National Graphene Institute.
